DESCRIPTION:Join SFCT’s Trails Program Manager\, Tim Rogers\, on this FREE bicycle ride celebrating BIKE MONTH – our first guided South Side Community Cruise in eight years.  We will explore Santa Fe’s growing network of urban trails in the southwest part of town\, including the newly-expanded Tierra Contenta Trail\, the River Trail\, and the Camino Real Trail\, and how to connect them with each other on relatively “bike-friendly” roads.  The ride will include a visit to Santa Fe Safe Routes to School Program’s annual “Bike Fiesta” (details forthcoming)\, including options to start or finish yoru ride at that ocation as well.  Includes approximately eight miles of riding on paved trails\, roads with bike lanes\, and some easy dirt trails.  Meet at South Side Library\, 6599 Jaguar Dr.\, at 10 am.\n*Participants will need to supply their own bicycle\nOur last South Side Community Cruise was with students from The Masters Program in 2018.

DESCRIPTION:Join SFCT’s Trails Program Manager\, Tim Rogers\, on a FREE Community Cruise bicycle ride celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Route 66.\nWe will ride parts of Historic Route 66 (1926-37 alignment) as well as Adventure Cycling Association’s “Bike Route 66\,” mostly in the greater downtown area\, including stops at relevant historic sites.  Meet at Plaza\, 10 am.  Includes riding on roads and paved trails (10 miles with option for just 4).\n*Participants will need to supply their own bicycle\nComing soon: Wayfinding signage to guide cyclists along parts of Bike Route 66 in Santa Fe\, a small part of SFCT’s technical assistance to City Public Works to improve bicycle wayfinding throughout the area.
